How many times can I use a cartridge?
TAN: Depending on what you want to tan, generally: 3 full body applications with your at-home spray tan system. If only arms or legs are being tanned, much longer.
BODY Glow: Approximately one month if used once per day
Can I spray myself with heavy body hair?
Yes, that’s no problem.
Thanks to the technology behind our at-home spray tan system, the droplets land on the skin because they are positively charged. The hair is neutrally charged, which allows the droplets to pass through to the skin.
The tanning also only reacts with the top layer of the skin & not with the hair.
Can I spray my face?
Yes, you can apply Tan and Glow directly to your face using the IONIQ ONE Sprayer.
Keep the at-home spray tan system 12 inches from your face, and apply with your eyes closed while gently breathing out. Keep your eyes closed for 2-3 seconds after spraying.
How long does the tan last?
Tans last around 7 days. For a lasting beautiful tan we recommend a weekly application.
Can I apply other skin care products after applying TAN?
Wait 8 hours after application of IONIQ at-home spray tan system before applying any additional products to the applied areas.
After 8 hours, you can continue using other cosmetics and skin care products.
How do the trigger buttons work?
Press both trigger buttons with the sprayer of the at-home spray tan system switched on to start spraying; during spraying, one trigger button can be released again.
Press and hold both trigger buttons and the ON/OFF switch at the same time to clean a clogged nozzle field with a concentrated jet.
Note: When pressing and releasing the ON/OFF switch and the trigger buttons, you can hear the pump pumping liquid out of or into the cartridge of the at-home spray tan system. These noises are normal and no cause for concern.
How do I use the ON/OFF switch?
Pressing the ON/OFF switch turns the appliance on and it starts searching for a connection. Press again to turn it off.
Press and hold the ON/OFF switch for more than 10 seconds to reset the sprayer.
Note: When pressing and releasing the ON/OFF switch and the trigger buttons, you can hear the pump pumping liquid out of or into the cartridge of the IONIQ ONE Sprayer, which is part of the at-home spray tan system. These noises are normal and no cause for concern.
How can I tell the cartridge status?
Icon flashes when the cartridge of the IONIQ at-home spray tan system is removed or replaced by another IONIQ product with the sprayer switched on.
Icon goes out when original cartridge is reinserted.
Icon also flashes when the fill level of the cartridge is low. The faster the flashing, the lower the fill level (have a spare cartridge ready).
How do I see the battery charge status?
The battery icon flashes slowly when charging and lights up continuously when fully charged.
The faster the flashing, the lower the charge level (slow: < 5 minutes; fast: < 2 minutes).
What do the sprayer vibrations of the IONIQ at-home spray tan system mean?
If the sprayer vibrates twice, that signals positive feedback (e.g. successful Bluetooth connection).
If the sprayer vibrates three times, there is an error (e.g. empty cartridge). Attempt a Sprayer reset by pressing and holding the on/off switch for 10 or more seconds in order to reset the Sprayer.
If the sprayer vibrates continuously, a cartridge was unscrewed with the sprayer switched on. Reinsert the removed cartridge and switch off the sprayer before changing the cartridge again. Remember to always switch off the IONIQ ONE Sprayer, which is part of the at-home spray tan system, before removing or changing cartridges.
What is the shelf life of the cartridges?
12 months after opening the cartridges.
Can I travel with the IONIQ at-home spray tan system?
The IONIQ ONE Sprayer, which is part of the spray tan system, needs to be packed as a carry-on item while flying due to the battery.
Any IONIQ Cartridges will need to be packed in checked-baggage. It is best to pack cartridges in a bag in case any leaking would occur.
Can I use the at-home spray tan system every day?
It’s best to wait a few days between applications. Most people reapply once a week to maintain a natural glow. Daily use isn’t necessary, as your tan typically lasts around 7 days.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our at-home spray tan system uses a formula that’s dermatologist tested, vegan, and free from mineral oil, silicones, parabens, and sulphates. It’s gentle enough for most skin types, including sensitive skin.
Can I tan just certain areas, like my legs or arms?
Absolutely. Your at-home spray tan system gives you full control, so you can choose to tan only specific areas without having to do your whole body.
